  • Wardrobe:
    • Swimsuit:
The swimsuit competition acts to demonstrate to the judges your commitment to a healthy, active lifestyle. The swimsuit may be a one-piece or two-piece swimsuit. All swimsuits must be primarily black in color. All contestants will wear matching Frederico Leonne swimsuit heels (these are included in your entry fee). You will receive the shoes once your full entry fee is paid (so you can begin to practice walking in them).

    • Evening Gown:
This is your moment! Select a formal gown that shows off your sense of style and personality. Judges will be scoring you on poise, confidence, grace, and elegance. You do not need to spend a fortune on this dress. Wear what makes you feel like Miss Kansas US International and you will shine!

  • Rehearsals:
Rehearsals are closed events (meaning no judges or outside individuals will be in attendance) so wear clothes that are comfortable. If an event is planned, such as a contestant dinner or outing, you will be given time to change.

This competition area is an optional one and does require an additional $50 entry fee. To apply for this award, you must submit an official school transcript along with 2 letters of recommendation from teachers, counselors, school administrators, etc., and a short cover letter, introducing yourself. A separate group of judges will select the winner of this award. She will receive a trophy as well as a scholarship.
