Aspire, LLC was conceived after numerous requests to combine the talents of pageant experience, educational experiences, and the need for a high-quality pageant experience for young women in Kansas. I firmly believe in the power of positive pageant experiences for enriching the lives on young women. While only one girl walks away with the crown, every participant should feel like royalty!
If you asked me a year ago if I would be directing a pageant, I would have looked at you like you were crazy! As a mom to seven, a full time professor, and wife, my day is filled with activity. However, a few things happened in the past year that changed my perspective.
- I was crowned Mrs. Kansas America. Along the way to becoming crowned, I met some amazing people who positively impacted my life (thank you Pete and Tracy!). It is through them and the experience of being a titleholder that I realized what an amazing opportunity pageantry presents. It allows you to set goals for yourself and a vehicle through which to get those things accomplished.
- I met Gaspar Cruz, the national director for Miss Teen World! Gaspar was my hair and makeup artist for a Mrs. KS photo shoot as well as at Mrs. America. He mentioned that the Miss Teen World pageant was partnering up with the Miss US International pageant. I immediately became intrigued. In order for me to be involved with a business, I must completely trust the leadership. I have 100% faith in Gaspar, his ethics, and is ability to deliver a high quality product. I am thrilled to be associated with him and his pageant system! Additionally, Britt Harrison, the national director for the Miss United States International pageant, is a great leader!
- I was asked numerous times if I would consider directing a Kansas pageant for young women in our state. It is a compliment to hear from so many that I would make a good director. It is nice knowing that they have that much faith in me!
So...after discussing it all with my husband, I decided that I absolutely wanted to do this. This is a great pageant system with excellent senior leadership! Those I've contacted regarding sponsorship are proud to sponsor KS girls! It is going to be a great show and experience!
