No. Program book ad sales are completely optional. Many delegates do
sell at least one page of ads as the program book is a keepsake. But ad
sales are not required and have no bearing on the outcome of the pageant.
Each contestant is given one complimentary ad page so she can thank her
sponsors and family.
Because we want to make this a beautiful event, we ask that you attempt to sell at least two ads, @ a price of $200 per ad page. When you sell the ad, you will ask for a business card or photo or both from the business or person placing the ad. Yes, you may sell “good luck” ads to friends. The contestant who sells the most ads (equaling the most in sales not in number of ads) for the program book will receive a cash prize or scholarship and trophy and be featured in the program book as Cover Miss. Ad sales are not required and have no bearing on the outcome of the pageant. Each contestant is given complimentary ad space so she can advertise her sponsors and thank family. You may prepare this page on your own or contact Melissa at Carmedia Design (Melissa@carmediadesign.com) for assistance. It is best to use digital images on the page and email the file to us at kim@misskansas.net. This page will not be included in tabulating the final score for Cover Miss.
